• Rotating every other or every third holiday

Qualifications:

• Current, active RN license (state or compact)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Stepdown/Progressive Care Unit experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Strong assessment and critical thinking abilities
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients requiring intermediate cardiac/respiratory monitoring
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments, monitoring for changes in patient status
• Collaborate closely with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and patient families for coordinated care
• Document observations, interventions, and outcomes accurately
• Educate patients and their support networks on care needs and recovery processes
