Seeking an experienced registered nurse for a role in a dynamic stepdown unit. This position is ideal for a dedicated professional who thrives in fast-paced clinical settings and is passionate about delivering high-quality care to patients requiring intermediate-level monitoring and support.

Schedule:

Qualifications:

• Active, unencumbered RN license
• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in a stepdown or progressive care unit
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Familiarity with EMR systems preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and assess patients transitioning from intensive care to general units, ensuring patient safety and optimal recovery
• Administer medications, treatments, and perform interventions as ordered
• Collaborate efficiently with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to plan and deliver patient care
• Provide education and support to patients and families regarding care plans, procedures, and health maintenance
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the electronic medical record
• Respond promptly to changes in patient condition, utilizing expertise to intervene and escalate care when necessary
