Schedule/Hours
- 12-hour night shifts: 6:30 pm7:00 am
- Guaranteed 36 hours per week (option for 48)
- 13-week contract starting 6/15, bi-weekly orientation
- Weekend/Holiday: 3 weekends every 6 weeks, every other holiday
Qualifications
- Active compact RN license
- AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, NIHSS (all current)
- Minimum 2 years RN experience; at least 1 year stepdown
- 1+ completed travel assignment
- Trauma level II experience
- Strong stepdown competencies: Tele/12-lead EKG, neuro assessments, titrating drips
- Recent EPIC charting proficiency (checkoff required)
- Must pass tele test and have strong assessment/critical thinking skills
Preferred Experience
- Familiarity with vents, drains, Narcan drips, and advanced neuro care
Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive care to high-acuity cardiac, neuro, and med-surg patients
- Perform and interpret EKGs, and manage multiple drips
- Float within skillset as needed (potential cross-campus)
- Participate in precepting students/new hires
