Schedule/Hours:
- 13-week assignment
- 36 hours per week
Qualifications:
- Current, active RN license
- Previous PCU/Stepdown nursing experience preferred
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- NIHSS certification required
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care in a progressive care/stepdown unit
- Monitor and assess patient status, responding promptly to changes
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for personalized patient care
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Educate patients and families, promoting positive health outcomes
- Participate in unit initiatives to ensure best practices and safety
