Schedule & Assignment Details
- 8-week contract, immediate start available
- 12-hour night shifts
- Guaranteed 48 hours per week
- Every other weekend and holiday required
- Floating within Cardiac Progressive Care/Telemetry units as needed
- No blocked scheduling; no on-call required
- Patient ratios: 1:5
Desired Qualifications & Requirements
- Active KY or Compact RN License
- AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Minimum of 2 years recent experience, including Level I or II Trauma environments
- Proficiency in tele strip interpretation
- Able to initiate/titrate cardiac drips and care for post-cath (femoral/radial), chest pain, and MI patients
- Experience with EPIC charting
- EKG test to be completed during onboarding
- COVID and Hepatitis B vaccinations required (with weekly testing for COVID declination); no exception for Hep B
- Black scrubs required
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, compassionate care within progressive cardiac/telemetry settings
- Interpret telemetry strips, initiate and manage cardiac drips
- Provide comprehensive post-catheterization and acute cardiac care
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members and adapt to float requirements
- Flexibly support unit needs, including assisting in aide roles as needed
