Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with STEMI/NSTEMI, congestive heart failure, and those requiring CP rule out assessments.
• Manage patients on noninvasive ventilation and those recovering from cardiothoracic surgery post-ICU transfer.
• Administer antiarrhythmic IV medications and monitor for therapeutic effects and potential complications.
• Assess and manage peripheral vascular compromise among stepdown unit patients.
• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Current RN license with proven experience in stepdown or cardiac nursing.
• Skilled in managing acute cardiac conditions, ventilatory support, and post-surgical care following ICU discharge.
• Competent in administering IV antiarrhythmics and interpreting cardiac telemetry.
• Ability to perform thorough patient assessments and respond promptly to changing conditions.
• Strong communication skills to coordinate care and provide patient/family education.
