Experience the dynamic environment of a progressive care unit with this rewarding contract opportunity. In this RN Stepdown role, you will provide high-level care to cardiovascular patients on a 55-bed unit, located within a heart hospital. This position offers both 36- or 48-hour workweeks, with block scheduling considered on a case-by-case basis, ideal for those seeking flexibility. Schedule & Hours:

• Night shift: 4x12-hour shifts (18:30 07:00)
• Rotating weekend requirement, as needed

Qualifications:

• Active RN license, in good standing
• Minimum 1 year of recent stepdown/progressive care experience (2 years preferred)
• Cardiovascular experience required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; CPI preferred
• Familiarity with EPIC documentation system is a plus
• Ability to float as needed within the facility

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to stepdown and cardiovascular patients
• Monitor, assess, and document patient status and progress using the EPIC system
• Adhere to patient ratios of 1:4, ensuring excellent care and patient safety
• Collaborate effectively with the interdisciplinary team
• Participate in rotating weekend coverage and float to various units as required
• Wear any solid-color scrubs (logos not permitted)
