Schedule/Hours:

• Nights, 4x12-hour shifts (18:30 07:00)
• Option for either 36 or 48 hours per week
• Weekend shifts required on a rotating, as-needed basis
• Block scheduling considered on a case-by-case basis

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Active RN license
• At least 1 year of recent stepdown or progressive care experience (2 years preferred)
• Previous cardiovascular patient care experience required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; CPI certification preferred
• EPIC documentation experience preferred
• Previous travel nurses are welcome; first-time travelers accepted

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive, compassionate nursing care to stepdown patients in a 55-bed unit specializing in cardiovascular cases
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in EPIC
• Respond rapidly to patient changes, applying strong clinical judgment and team collaboration
• Float as needed within similar units to meet patient care demands
• Provide seamless care continuity by supporting scheduled and unscheduled needs

Additional Information:

• Patient-to-nurse ratios of 1:4
• Flexible scrub color (no facility logo required)
• No on-call requirements; block scheduling available, dependent on assignment parameters
