Schedule/Hours:
- Nights, 4x12-hour shifts (18:30 07:00)
- Option for either 36 or 48 hours per week
- Weekend shifts required on a rotating, as-needed basis
- Block scheduling considered on a case-by-case basis
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Active RN license
- At least 1 year of recent stepdown or progressive care experience (2 years preferred)
- Previous cardiovascular patient care experience required
- BLS and ACLS certifications required; CPI certification preferred
- EPIC documentation experience preferred
- Previous travel nurses are welcome; first-time travelers accepted
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive, compassionate nursing care to stepdown patients in a 55-bed unit specializing in cardiovascular cases
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in EPIC
- Respond rapidly to patient changes, applying strong clinical judgment and team collaboration
- Float as needed within similar units to meet patient care demands
- Provide seamless care continuity by supporting scheduled and unscheduled needs
Additional Information:
- Patient-to-nurse ratios of 1:4
- Flexible scrub color (no facility logo required)
- No on-call requirements; block scheduling available, dependent on assignment parameters
