As a Stepdown Registered Nurse, you'll collaborate with expert clinicians, gain exposure to various patient care protocols, and develop advanced clinical skills in a dynamic setting. Schedule/Hours:
- Travel assignment with rotating or set shifts (confirm with recruiter for specifics)
Key Qualifications:
- Active RN license in good standing
- At least 1 year of recent Stepdown or Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong assessment, communication, and critical-thinking skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based nursing care to stepdown patients requiring frequent monitoring and interventions
- Conduct assessments, record patient histories, and administer prescribed treatments and medications
- Monitor patient progress and promptly report any changes in condition
- Educate patients and families on procedures, medications, and recovery expectations
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with facility protocols and regulatory standards
