In this role, youll develop valuable skills as you care for patients with a complex variety of diagnoses, including Sepsis, Heart Failure, Hypertensive Emergency, Respiratory Failure, COPD, Chronic Kidney Disease, Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus, Substance Abuse, Status Epilepticus, and Encephalopathy. The environment is fast-paced, providing 16-20 beds with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4giving you the opportunity to deliver impactful care while expanding your skill set for future leadership roles.

Schedule/Hours:

• 48-hour contract

Desired Qualifications:

• Active RN license
• At least 2 years of acute stepdown nursing experience
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Strong clinical judgment and adaptability in a rapidly changing environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

• Monitor and manage care for complex stepdown patients
• Closely observe cardiac, respiratory, and renal conditions, acting quickly to any changes
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other clinical staff
• Document patient status, care interventions, and outcomes in electronic records
• Provide compassionate, evidence-based support to patients and families during critical recovery
