Qualifications & Experience:
- Current, unrestricted RN license
- Minimum of 1 year of recent Stepdown or progressive care experience preferred
- BLS certification (required)
- ACLS certification (preferred)
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate within an interdisciplinary team
- Willingness to adapt to fast-paced, evolving situations
Schedule/Hours:
- Travel-based assignment (schedule details to be provided during interview)
Key Responsibilities:
- Ongoing assessment of patient status; perform interventions as dictated by patient needs
- Provide direct care including medication administration, treatments, patient education, and response to alarms or calls
- Teach patients/families and update care plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams
- Serve as a leader, resource, and mentor to support staff
- Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and hospital policies
