Key Qualifications:

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of one year experience in a stepdown or progressive care unit preferred
• Advanced understanding of cardiac monitoring, IV drips, and ventilator support
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Strong critical thinking skills and ability to respond promptly to changes in patient condition
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities

Schedule/Hours:

• Schedule based on facility needs; flexibility for day/evening/night shifts may be requested

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients transitioning from intensive care
• Monitor vital signs and promptly report any changes to the healthcare team
• Administer medications, treatments, and specialized therapies as prescribed
• Provide patient education and support to both patients and their families
• Maintain accurate patient records, ensuring compliance with policy and best practices
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate ongoing patient care
