Deliver exceptional patient care as a Registered Nurse specializing in Stepdown nursing. You'll play a key role in supporting patients transitioning from intensive care, working with a collaborative healthcare team dedicated to positive outcomes. Key Qualifications:

• Active, unencumbered RN license
• Minimum of one year recent experience in a Stepdown or similar intermediate care unit
• Strong assessment, monitoring, and clinical documentation abilities
• Proficient in caring for patients with complex medical needs post-ICU
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well under pressure

Schedule/Hours:

• Flexibility required; specific shift details provided during interview process

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality and compassionate care to Stepdown patients
• Monitor patient status, recognize and respond to changes promptly
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary staff to develop individualized care plans
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with protocols
• Accurately document observations, interventions, and patient responses
• Provide education to patients and families during the transition to lower levels of care
• Participate actively in handoffs to ensure seamless continuity of care
