Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and assess patients who are transitioning from intensive care, responding swiftly to changes in condition
• Deliver evidence-based nursing care, including detailed assessments, medication administration, and therapeutic interventions
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Ensure accurate charting and clear communication of patient progress to healthcare professionals and families
• Educate patients and families on post-hospital care and continued recovery needs
• Maintain a safe environment in accordance with best practices and hospital policy

Desired Skills & Experience:

• Current, active RN license and BLS/ACLS certification required
• Proven experience in a stepdown, progressive care, or intermediate care unit
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving setting
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems
• Compassionate communicator with dedication to patient-centered care
