Schedule/Hours:
- Full-time contract placement (specific shift details provided during interview process)
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Active, unencumbered RN license
- Minimum of 1 year recent experience in Stepdown or Progressive Care nursing
- Strong critical thinking and clinical assessment skills
- Proven ability to administer medications and manage complex patient cases
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and assess patient vital signs, oxygenation levels, and overall stability
- Deliver medication, including titrated drips, as ordered
- Educate patients and their families regarding condition changes and ongoing care
- Coordinate care plans with providers and multidisciplinary team members
- Maintain accurate and complete patient records
- Uphold safety protocols and infection control standards at all times
