As a Stepdown Registered Nurse, working every Saturday and Sunday, you'll play a vital role in patient recovery, bridging the gap between intensive and general care. Schedule/Hours:
- Every Saturday and Sunday
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Active RN license in good standing
- At least one year of recent Stepdown or progressive care experience
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Exceptional communication, teamwork, and adaptability
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a stepdown environment
- Monitor and assess patient conditions for early signs of deterioration
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Provide patient and family education for ongoing care and recovery
- Accurately document all aspects of patient care
- Respond swiftly and calmly in emergency situations
