As a travel RN with stepdown expertise, you'll have the chance to grow your clinical skills by collaborating with interdisciplinary teams in both Medical Floors and Step Down Units. Exposure to diverse patient populations and various leadership styles will broaden your nursing perspective, strengthening your rsum and advancing your career. The journey extends beyond patient careyou'll gain invaluable experience adapting to new environments and innovative care practices.
Schedule/Hours:
- 12-hour night shifts
- 36 hours per week
- Floating to Medical Floor and Step Down Unit as needed
- Weekend and holiday coverage as required (on-call not required)
Key Qualifications:
- Active KS Registered Nursing License
- BLS certification
- Minimum 1 year recent acute care MS RN experience
- Previous Medical-Surgical and Stepdown experience preferred
- Adaptability for floating between units
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to stepdown and medical floor patients
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and manage patient assessments
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop individualized care plans
- Educate patients and families, promoting recovery
- Respond promptly to urgent situations with sound clinical judgement
