Nurses with strong Stepdown or Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience are invited to contribute their expertise at a respected healthcare facility for a contract assignment this December. In this role, you will support both the 3E GI SPCU and 3W SPCU units, working within a welcoming and collaborative environment where travelers are valued and integrated into the team.

Schedule:

• December assignment start
• Multiple floors, 36-bed units, 4:1 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Travelers are required to float and may work at sister campuses

Key Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of recent Stepdown or PCU experience
• Active RN license
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Proficiency with Epic EMR systems
• Prior travel nursing experience highly preferred
• Willingness to float between units and campuses as needed
• Cannot live or own property within a 50-mile radius of Fort Myers, FL
• All requested time off must be included at the time of submission; changes cannot be accommodated afterward

Primary Duties:

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care on Stepdown/SPCU units
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
• Assess, plan, and evaluate patients responses to care and implement interventions as required
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation using Epic
• Function at the same standard as permanent staff, contributing positively to unit culture
• Respond with flexibility to the needs of different units and patient populations

$1,714 - $1,875/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
