Schedule/Hours:
- 12-hour night shifts: 1845-0715
- Every other weekend required
- No on-call
- Availability to work major holidays (manager may coordinate for time off on one major holiday as possible)
Qualifications/Preferred Experience:
- Active RN license, along with ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Minimum 1 year of recent experience as a PCU RN
- High acuity drip management highly preferred
- Experience with arterial lines and bipap/airvo devices desirable
- Nicotine-free status (facility requirement)
- New graduates are not eligible
Responsibilities:
- Deliver expert clinical care to Stepdown/PCU patients in a fast-paced environment
- Respond effectively to changing patient conditions and adapt to critical care protocols
- Float as needed to lower acuity units, providing flexibility and team collaboration
- Maintain best practices in documentation and patient safety
- Participate fully in a robust orientation program blending classroom, hands-on, and computer-based learning
