This travel RN position in a progressive stepdown environment will expose you to advanced care in a 154-bed facility, renowned as the regions most complex hospital within a 70-mile radius. As a Level 3 Trauma Center with a Level 1 NICU, Joint Commission-accredited Chest Pain Center, and Advanced Primary Stroke Care Center, this setting offers unmatched exposure to specialized practices and leadership stylesperfect for enhancing your resume and professional expertise.
Schedule/Hours:
- 4x10 hour shifts: TuesdayFriday weekly
- Weekly Monday orientation (required prior to first shift)
- Only candidates residing 60+ miles away are eligible for travel status
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to Stepdown patients, monitoring for changes and swiftly intervening as necessary
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to tailor patient-focused care
- Accurately document in accordance with hospital policies and regulations
- Engage in safety and quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications:
- Active RN licenseunencumbered and valid in TX or compact state
- Required certifications (must be current before start date)
- Stepdown or progressive care nursing experience highly preferred
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
