Step into an essential nursing position providing dedicated care in a stepdown unit within a hospital environment. This role requires the expertise of a Registered Nurse skilled in managing patients transitioning from critical care, ensuring ongoing monitoring and support during the recovery process. The contract position offers exposure to a fast-paced, collaborative healthcare setting.

Qualifications:

• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
• At least one year of recent nursing experience in a stepdown or intermediate care unit
• Proficient in patient assessments, vital sign monitoring, and early identification of complications
• Strong communication skills for working with multidisciplinary teams, patients, and families
• BLS and ACLS certifications required

Schedule/Hours:

• Full-time contract role; schedule details will be provided during the interview process

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver skilled nursing care to patients requiring close monitoring between the ICU and general wards
• Perform regular assessments and promptly report changes in patient condition
• Administer medications, manage IV infusions, and adhere to established protocols
• Coordinate with physicians and allied health professionals to develop and implement care plans
• Support patient and family education to enhance overall recovery and outcomes
• Accurately document all care and observations in compliance with facility standards
