Qualifications:

• Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Recent stepdown or progressive care nursing experience required
• Strong assessment and clinical skills for monitoring acutely ill patients
• Ability to respond quickly to changes in patient condition and implement interventions
• Proficiency in medication administration, telemetry monitoring, and post-surgical care
• Excellent communication abilities for collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification

Schedule/Hours:

• Variable shifts may be required based on patient and facility needs

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients transitioning from critical care to general care units
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and ongoing vital monitoring
• Respond promptly to changes in patient health status and update care plans as needed
• Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols
• Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and ancillary staff to ensure continuity and coordination of care

• Accurately document patient progress, interventions, and outcomes within medical records
