Position Overview
- Schedule: 13-week assignment, 36 hours per week
- Work in a respected medical center, serving a dynamic patient population
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a supportive environment
Qualifications
- Active RN license
- At least one year of recent PCU/Stepdown experience preferred
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
- Strong assessment, monitoring, and communication skills
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver evidence-based care to acutely ill patients in a stepdown/PCU setting
- Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and perform complex assessments
- Educate patients and families, promoting recovery and positive outcomes
- Document patient care thoroughly and accurately
- Respond promptly to changes in patient status, escalating concerns as needed
