Schedule/Hours:
- 13-week contract
- 36 hours per week
Qualifications:
- Valid RN license
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
- Recent experience in stepdown, progressive care, or a related setting
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct patient care to stepdown/PCU patients, including monitoring, treatment, and education
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Assess and document patients progress, intervening swiftly in emergency or deterioration situations
- Administer medication and therapies according to established protocols
- Ensure compliance with all safety and infection control procedures
