This opportunity enables RNs to collaborate with experienced teams across various cardiac progressive care and telemetry settings. Schedule/Hours

  • 12-hour night shifts
  • 48 hours per week (no exceptions to this guaranteed hour requirement)
  • 8-week contract
  • Every other weekend and holiday rotation

Qualifications

  • Current KY or Compact RN license
  • AHA BLS & AHA ACLS (required)
  • NIHSS certification
  • Minimum two years of recent nursing experience, with Level I or II Trauma exposure
  • Comfortable with tele strip interpretation, cardiac drip titration, and post-cath care (femoral and radial)
  • Must complete an EKG test during compliance process
  • Epic charting experience
  • COVID and Hep B vaccination (no declination allowed for Hep B; COVID declination only with accepted exception and subsequent weekly testing)
  • Resilient, adaptable, and highly collaborative; must thrive in change-heavy, social environments

Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive nursing care to cardiac, chest pain, MI, and post-cath patients (1:5 ratio)
  • Float within all cardiac progressive care/telemetry units as needed; may assist as an aide
  • Demonstrate high standards of patient safety, care quality, and team communication
