The unit offers both 36-hour and 48-hour workweek options, with shift patterns of four 12-hour night shifts (18:3007:00). First-time travelers and local travelers are welcomed, making this a supportive environment for those eager to expand their experience.
Schedule:
- Night shifts: 4x12-hour (18:3007:00)
- Flexible weekly hours: 36 or 48 hours
- Rotating weekends as needed
- Floating within unit required
Qualifications:
- Active RN license with stepdown/progressive care experience
- 2+ years experience preferred, 1+ year considered
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- CPI certification preferred
- Cardiovascular nursing experience essential
- Experience with EPIC documentation system valued
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in a 55-bed cardiovascular stepdown unit
- Manage a patient ratio of 1:4, ensuring attentive, high-quality care
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support optimal patient outcomes
- Respond effectively in rapidly changing clinical situations
- Float to other units within scope as required
