Provide expert nursing care in a Surgical Stepdown unit that supports post-operative patients requiring specialized monitoring and interventions. Location: This role is based in Ballwin, MO, at a well-established hospital acclaimed for comprehensive trauma and cardiovascular care. Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct nursing care including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation for post-op and trauma patients.
• Manage complex patient needs such as bipap support, cardiac infusions, and high-acuity medical conditions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care effectively.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold hospital standards according to organizational values.
• Adhere to safety protocols and hospital policies, including flu vaccination requirements from November through April.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Current RN license eligible or active in Missouri.
• Minimum 2 years of Stepdown or ICU nursing experience.
• BLS and ACLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Proficient in managing critical care equipment and EPIC EMR system.
• Strong problem-solving skills, positive attitude, and team-oriented mindset.

Shift & Schedule:

• Night shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.
• 36 or 48 hours per week, flexible guaranteed hours.
• Every other weekend rotation; no call requirements.
