Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Active RN license in good standing, with eligibility in Kansas
• Minimum of one year of recent Stepdown unit experience preferred
• Proficiency in cardiac monitoring, ventilator management, and complex medication administration
• BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
• Excellent critical thinking, assessment, and communication skills
• Adaptable to evolving patient needs and able to thrive in fast-paced settings

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to Stepdown patients transitioning from ICU-level support
• Manage assessments, vital signs, medication administration, and monitor for early signs of deterioration
• Collaborate with physicians, patient families, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive, individualized care plans
• Maintain thorough and accurate patient records within EMR systems
• Educate patients and families, promote safety, and support recovery
