Deliver skilled nursing care in a fast-paced Stepdown unit specializing in cardiac patient populations. This travel position offers an opportunity to work in a 28-bed Progressive Care Unit (PCU)/Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) with a focus on cardiac patients including STEMI, NSTEMI, CTS, and cardiopulmonary cases.

Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and manage cardiac patients receiving critical care, including administration of cardiac drips such as Milrinone, Dobutamine, and Pressors
- Provide care for patients in telemetry beds with lower acuity as assigned
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation, including all demographic information and an appropriate badge photo
- Adhere to protocols for STEMI, NSTEMI, post-cardiac surgery, and other cardiac conditions
- Ensure patient safety and respond quickly to changes in condition
Qualifications & Experience:
- Current RN license with experience in Stepdown/PCU nursing
- Minimum 2 years documented PCU experience in a similar-sized facility (28 beds or comparable)
- Strong background in cardiac nursing including STEMI, NSTEMI, CTS, C/P patients
- Experience managing cardiac drips and telemetry monitoring with a patient ratio of 1:3-4
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
