Exciting opportunity for a skilled Registered Nurse with Stepdown experience to provide care in a dynamic long-term acute environment. This contract role offers a chance to work with complex patient populations as part of a compassionate, interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications:

• Current and unrestricted RN license
• Previous clinical experience in Stepdown or Progressive Care settings
• Proficiency in assessing, monitoring, and caring for acutely ill patients
• Demonstrated ability to manage telemetry, infusions, and respiratory support devices
• Certification in BLS and ACLS required
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to think critically and work autonomously and collaboratively

Schedule/Hours:

• Variable shifts (day and/or night options may be available, subject to operational needs)
• Full-time contract assignment

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients recovering from critical illness or surgery
• Perform frequent patient assessments and promptly communicate changes in condition
• Administer medications and interventions per physician orders and protocols
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other clinicians to coordinate individualized care plans
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, progress, and discharge instructions
• Document care accurately and comprehensively in electronic health records
