Deliver exceptional patient care in a dynamic stepdown unit environment, supporting individuals transitioning from intensive care. This nursing opportunity is ideal for experienced RNs with a passion for monitoring complex conditions and assisting in recovery processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive care to patients requiring close observation and frequent assessment in the stepdown unit.
• Monitor and promptly respond to changes in patient condition, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Administer medications, perform critical interventions, and utilize advanced monitoring equipment.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, discharge instructions, and ongoing care needs.
• Accurately document all assessments, interventions, and responses in the electronic medical record system.
• Uphold safety protocols and participate actively in quality improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• Current and unrestricted RN license.
• Minimum of 1-2 years recent experience in a stepdown/telemetry/intensive care or comparable unit.
• Proven ability to manage intermediate-level acuity with critical thinking and swift decision making.
• BLS and ACLS certifications (must be valid and up-to-date).
• Excellent communication skills, adaptability, and a commitment to patient-centered care.
