Schedule/Hours:
- Full-time contract position (specific schedule to be discussed during interview)
Qualifications:
- Current and active RN license
- Minimum of one year recent experience in a Stepdown or similar progressive care setting
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Monitor, assess, and document patient condition post-ICU and pre-med/surg discharge
- Administer prescribed treatments, medications, and therapies in accordance with care plans
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal outcomes
- Educate patients and families regarding recovery, ongoing care, and discharge instructions
- Respond rapidly to changes in patient status and initiate emergency interventions as needed
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation for all care provided
