Schedule/Hours:

• Full-time contract position (specific schedule to be discussed during interview)

Qualifications:

• Current and active RN license
• Minimum of one year recent experience in a Stepdown or similar progressive care setting
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Role Responsibilities:

• Monitor, assess, and document patient condition post-ICU and pre-med/surg discharge
• Administer prescribed treatments, medications, and therapies in accordance with care plans
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal outcomes
• Educate patients and families regarding recovery, ongoing care, and discharge instructions
• Respond rapidly to changes in patient status and initiate emergency interventions as needed
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation for all care provided
