Deliver advanced nursing care in a dynamic stepdown unit, where your clinical expertise supports patients transitioning from critical care to recovery. As an RN in this fast-paced environment, you'll collaborate with top-tier multidisciplinary teams, ensuring outstanding patient outcomes and compassionate support.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• Active RN license
• Minimum of 1 year of recent stepdown (intermediate care) experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications (current and in good standing)
• Strong assessment, prioritization, and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems preferred

Schedule/Hours:

• Contract assignment with guaranteed weekly hours
• Rotating shifts, including some nights, weekends, and holidays

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and assess stepdown patients, recognizing changes in acuity and responding promptly
• Administer medications, manage IVs, and deliver evidence-based nursing interventions
• Coordinate with physicians, case managers, and allied health professionals for optimal patient care planning
• Provide patient and family education regarding disease processes, recovery, and ongoing needs
• Meticulously document care delivered and changes in patient condition using EMR
• Uphold infection control and patient safety standards at all times
