Deliver specialized nursing care within a dynamic healthcare environment, focusing on ICU, Step Down Unit, Med Surg, Day Stay Unit, PACU, and ER settings. This contract role demands proficient planning, coordination, and execution of patient care while maintaining up-to-date competencies across all assigned units. You will be responsible for supervising and delegating duties to ancillary staff according to their scope of practice, ensuring comprehensive and safe patient management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care in ICU, Step Down, Med Surg, Day Stay Unit, PACU, and ER
- Maintain current competency certifications for each units specific requirements
- Coordinate patient care plans and communicate effectively with the healthcare team
- Delegate care tasks appropriately to ancillary personnel
- Adhere to established protocols and standards consistent with professional nursing practice
Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse (RN) license with active, unrestricted status
- Experience in step-down care and familiarity with critical care nursing
- Ability to work across multiple clinical settings within the hospital
- Strong leadership and delegation skills
