Schedule/Hours:

• Rotating shifts; anticipate 6 weekend (Saturday or Sunday) shifts in each 6-week period

We are seeking an experienced RN with stepdown expertise to provide exemplary care for complex patients within a well-supported, collaborative team. The unit features 23 stepdown beds and 16 med surg beds, working with advanced equipment such as lifts, cardiac drips, chest tubes, and stable vented trach patients. Expand your skills in a setting where flexibility and a high level of clinical competence are valued.

Desired Qualifications:

• Current RN licensure and unrestricted eligibility to practice
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience, particularly with trach patients
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Adaptability to float to other med surg and progressive care units as needed
• Previous Cerner EMR experience is preferred

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive, safe care to stepdown and med surg patients
• Perform specialized procedures: trach care, chest tube management, wound dressing changes
• Coordinate with an interdisciplinary team, adjusting to varying acuity and patient ratios (1:34 in stepdown, 1:46 in med surg)
• Adhere to facility policies, guidelines, and unit safety protocols
• Maintain professionalism in a navy blue scrub uniform
