Qualifications:
- Valid RN license in good standing
- Previous experience providing care in a stepdown or progressive care setting strongly preferred
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required
- Strong assessment, communication, and collaboration abilities
- Comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-paced clinical environment
- Adaptable to changing care needs and patient acuity levels
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct patient care to individuals transitioning from critical care, monitoring complex conditions and intervening as necessary
- Administer medications, treatments, and specialized therapies in accordance with established protocols
- Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and patients families to coordinate and optimize plans of care
- Collect and interpret vital data, promptly reporting significant changes or concerns
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation and ensure compliance with hospital procedures and regulatory standards
- Uphold a patient-centered approach, prioritizing safety, compassion, and excellence throughout every interaction
