Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Current, valid RN license
• At least one year of recent Stepdown/Progressive Care nursing experience preferred
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Strong assessment, communication, and collaboration skills
• Ability to adapt to changing patient needs and prioritize effectively
• Proficient with electronic health records

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to Stepdown patients, closely monitoring for any signs of change in condition
• Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and interventions as directed
• Collaborate with physicians, allied health professionals, and family members to create and update care plans
• Educate patients and families on condition management and post-discharge care
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all patient interactions and interventions
• Support a safe, therapeutic environment by adhering to hospital policies and evidence-based practices
