Schedule/Hours:
- Travel, flexible shifts available
Key Qualifications:
- Valid RN license
- Previous Stepdown or Progressive Care experience preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification required
- Successful completion of proctored rhythm test
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct patient care to individuals recovering from cardiac surgery on the PCU
- Monitor patient status, assess for changes, and coordinate care plans with the healthcare team
- Administer cardiac therapies and medications as ordered
- Educate patients and families about post-operative care and recovery expectations
- Maintain accurate documentation and uphold all patient safety protocols
