Schedule/Hours:

Qualifications:
- Active Registered Nurse license
- Minimum of one year of recent stepdown or PCU experience
- Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification
- Completion of a proctored rhythm test
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to post-cardiac surgery patients within a progressive care unit
- Perform thorough patient assessments, monitoring, and accurate documentation
- Respond promptly to cardiac changes, collaborating closely with the cardiac team
- Administer prescribed treatments, medications, and perform interventions as needed
- Educate patients and their families on recovery processes and post-discharge care
