Key Qualifications:
- Active RN license
- Demonstrated experience in Stepdown or Progressive Care Units (PCU), preferably with cardiac patients
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification required
- Must successfully complete a proctored rhythm test
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in a cardiac stepdown setting
- Monitor, assess, and record vital signs and patient progress
- Administer medications, IVs, and advanced cardiac therapies as prescribed
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Educate patients and families about cardiac conditions and recovery processes
- Respond promptly to changes in patient status, executing evidence-based interventions
Schedule/Hours:
- Travel, assignment-based scheduling to meet unit needs
