Schedule:
- Every other weekend required
- No on-call obligations
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to stepdown patients, monitoring acute changes and responding rapidly to changes in condition
- Accurately document patient care in Cerner OneChart EHR system
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams across various units and, on occasion, float to similar units on the same or a different Wichita-area campus as needed
- Provide compassionate patient and family education, supporting positive outcomes through attentive care
Qualifications:
- Current and unrestricted RN license
- Previous experience in stepdown or progressive care nursing preferred
- Proficiency with EHR systems, specifically Cerner OneChart, is a bonus
- Adaptable to floating between like units and working with new teams
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
