Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to patients requiring stepdown monitoring, including cardiac telemetry and complex case management.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care according to evidence-based protocols.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and optimize patient outcomes.
• Monitor vital signs, respond promptly to changes in patient conditions, and maintain accurate documentation.
• Educate patients and families on health conditions and care plans to support recovery and wellness.

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Kansas.
• Proven experience in a stepdown or progressive care nursing role, preferably within a trauma center or acute care setting.
• Strong clinical judgment and the ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
