A rewarding opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse with Stepdown experience to contribute to high-quality patient care in a Level 1 Trauma Center. Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care to patients requiring stepdown monitoring, including cardiac telemetry and complex case management.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care according to evidence-based protocols.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and optimize patient outcomes.
- Monitor vital signs, respond promptly to changes in patient conditions, and maintain accurate documentation.
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and care plans to support recovery and wellness.
Qualifications / Desired Experience:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Kansas.
- Proven experience in a stepdown or progressive care nursing role, preferably within a trauma center or acute care setting.
- Strong clinical judgment and the ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
