Key Qualifications:
- Current, unencumbered RN license
- Proven experience in Stepdown or Progressive Care settings
- Ability to interpret cardiac rhythms and manage complex patient cases
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication abilities
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- EMR proficiency and comfort with modern healthcare technology
Primary Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement tailored care plans
- Monitor and respond rapidly to changes in patients conditions
- Administer medications and manage IV infusions with accuracy
- Deliver compassionate patient education and support to families during transitions from ICU to lower acuity settings
- Ensure meticulous documentation for compliance and continuity of care
- Uphold all infection control and safety protocols
