Key Qualifications:

  • Current, unencumbered RN license
  • Proven experience in Stepdown or Progressive Care settings
  • Ability to interpret cardiac rhythms and manage complex patient cases
  • Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication abilities
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • EMR proficiency and comfort with modern healthcare technology

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement tailored care plans
  • Monitor and respond rapidly to changes in patients conditions
  • Administer medications and manage IV infusions with accuracy
  • Deliver compassionate patient education and support to families during transitions from ICU to lower acuity settings
  • Ensure meticulous documentation for compliance and continuity of care
  • Uphold all infection control and safety protocols
