Provide specialized nursing care in a Progressive Care Unit dedicated to acutely ill patients who are moderately stable but require advanced monitoring and intervention. Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct patient care and comprehensive assessments for PCU patients.
- Utilize advanced knowledge to perform continuous monitoring and timely interventions.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current, unencumbered Oregon RN license at the time of application.
- Healthcare Provider Level Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications required.
- Prior experience in Progressive Care Units and competency in basic EKG interpretation preferred.
- Verification of high school diploma or equivalent as per College of American Pathologists (CAP) standards.
