As a travel nurse specializing in Rehabilitation and Long-Term Care, you will work alongside a multidisciplinary team dedicated to delivering exceptional patient-centered care for individuals recovering from strokes, brain or spinal-cord injuries, orthopedic injuries, and more. This unique assignment will allow you exposure to innovative rehabilitation practices and specialized equipmentincluding advanced therapy gyms, a dedicated brain injury unit, and a simulated apartment for daily living practiceenhancing your clinical expertise and rsum.
Professional growth is fostered by collaborating with experienced physicians, therapists, and nurses renowned for their holistic approach to recovery, encompassing patients physical, emotional, and psychological needs. Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, and implement individualized nursing care for rehabilitation patients
- Monitor patient progress, adjusting care plans in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team
- Educate patients and families about recovery processes and at-home care
- Actively participate in team meetings and continuous quality improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and facility protocols
Qualifications:
- RN licensure (active and unencumbered)
- Experience in Rehab/LTC settings (preferred)
- Current BLS certification
- Flu vaccination (or approved exemption with mask usage per facility requirements)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
