As an RN in this travel position, youll work within a respected long-term care facility nestled within a hospital setting. This assignment presents an outstanding opportunity to gain hands-on experience with diverse patient populations and a variety of advanced nursing interventions. Schedule/Hours:
- Varied 8-hour shifts: Days (7:30 am 3:30 pm), Evenings (3:00 pm 11:30 pm), Nights (11:00 pm 7:30 am)
- Including weekends and holidays, plus the potential for overtime
- No shift preference or guaranteed hours due to facility needs
Responsibilities:
- Comprehensive patient assessments and care planning
- Medication administration and monitoring
- Performing and documenting treatments including gastrostomy and catheter care, nebulizer and wound vac therapy, CPAP care, and more
- Reporting pertinent information to physicians and nurse practitioners
- Managing admissions, discharges, and supporting patient ADLs
Qualifications:
- Active RN license (or ability to obtain Hawaii license prior to start)
- Previous experience in Rehab or LTC settings preferred
- Ability to adapt to varied shift scheduling
- Strong communication and assessment skills
- Willingness to arrive the Thursday before assignment starts for pre-employment health screenings
