Job Description

A skilled Registered Nurse with experience in Rehabilitation and Long-Term Care is needed to provide quality nursing services at a long-term care facility located on a hospital campus in Paauilo, HI. This travel position requires flexibility in shift scheduling and dedication to delivering comprehensive care to residents.

Location:

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct patient assessments and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Administer medications and perform treatments including gastrostomy tube care, urinary catheter care, nebulizer treatments, wound vacuum care, and CPAP care
  • Provide ADL (Activities of Daily Living) assistance
  • Communicate critical information to MD/NP promptly
  • Manage patient admissions and discharges
  • Participate in multidisciplinary care and follow all facility protocols

Qualifications:

  • Current RN license with active Hawaii licensure required by assignment start date
  • Experience in rehabilitation and long-term care settings
  • Ability to work varied 8-hour shifts (Days 7:30 AM3:30 PM, Evenings 3:00 PM11:30 PM, Nights 11:00 PM7:30 AM), including weekends, holidays, and potential overtime
  • Must be able to arrive the Thursday before the assignment start date for employee health appointment on Friday

Additional Details:

  • Flexible scheduling, including 8-hour shifts on varied schedules
  • Immediate need for Hawaii-licensed RNs; candidates without a Hawaii license must apply upon acceptance and obtain license before starting
  • This is a travel opportunity requiring candidates to relocate temporarily to Hawaii
