A rewarding opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse specializing in Rehab and Long-Term Care to provide exceptional care on an adult stroke/neuro rehab unit with 30 beds. The position is based in a supportive, collaborative environment and offers the chance to make a real difference in patient outcomes.
Schedule:
- 32 hours per week
- 8-hour evening shifts (3:00 PM 11:30 PM)
- 4 days per week with every other weekend rotation
Qualifications:
- Current RN license in good standing
- Experience in rehab, neuro, or long-term care nursing strongly preferred
- Strong assessment and clinical skills
- Compassionate communicator with patients, families, and team members
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-centered environment
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Responsibilities:
- Deliver professional and compassionate nursing care to adults recovering from strokes and neurological conditions
- Monitor, assess, and document patient progress
- Administer medications, treatments, and facilitate therapies as ordered
- Collaborate closely with physicians, therapy staff, and social workers for optimal care planning
- Educate patients and families on recovery plans and ongoing needs
- Uphold safety, infection prevention, and quality assurance protocols
