This travel opportunity is geared toward Registered Nurses eager to advance their skills in rehabilitation and long-term care. Working in this diverse, collaborative setting provides an invaluable chance to engage with different leadership styles, expand your clinical expertise, and build a robust resume. Youll be supporting a skilled nursing team while caring for residents in a facility set within a hospital campus.
Schedule/Hours:
- Varied 8-hour shifts: Days (7:30 AM - 3:30 PM), Evenings (3:00 PM - 11:30 PM), Nights (11:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
- Includes weekends, holidays, and potential overtime rotation
- Applicants must arrive the Thursday before assignment starts for onboarding appointments
Qualifications:
- Active RN license; State of Hawaii licensure required by assignment start (assistance provided upon offer)
- Previous experience in rehab or long-term care nursing preferred
- Strong communication and assessment skills
- Ability to perform gastrostomy tube, catheter, nebulizer, wound vac, and CPAP care
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including holidays and weekends
Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive nursing assessments, treatments, and medication administration
- Communicate updates and urgent findings to MDs/NPs
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Manage admissions, discharges, and transitions of care
- Collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary healthcare team
