A registered nurse with experience in rehabilitation and long-term care is needed for a contract assignment in Honokaa, HI. This role involves providing comprehensive nursing care within a skilled nursing setting co-located with a hospital.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform patient assessments and administer treatments in a long-term care setting
- Provide medication administration and monitor patient responses
- Notify medical providers of significant patient information in a timely manner
- Manage admissions and discharges with thorough documentation
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADL)
- Deliver specialized care including gastrostomy tube care, urinary catheter care, nebulizer treatments, wound vacuum care, and CPAP care
- Cover varied shifts including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as required
- Comply with assigned duties and participate in overtime rotation as needed
Qualifications:
- Active Registered Nurse license in the State of Hawaii required prior to start date
- Experience in rehabilitation and long-term care nursing
- Ability to work varied 8-hour shifts (day, evening, night) including weekends and holidays
- Must attend a pre-start employee health appointment (arrival Thursday before assignment start)
