Advance your nursing career by providing specialized care for adult patients recovering from stroke and neurological conditions in a dynamic rehabilitation and long-term care environment. This position offers the opportunity to work with a dedicated interdisciplinary team in a 30-bed unit focused on patient-centered rehabilitation and recovery.

Schedule:

• 32 hours per week
• Four 8-hour evening shifts (3:00 PM 11:30 PM)
• Every other weekend required

Qualifications:

• Current RN license in good standing
• Prior experience in rehabilitation or long-term care nursing strongly preferred
• Solid understanding of neurological and post-stroke patient needs
• Excellent critical thinking and clinical assessment skills
• Compassionate approach to patient care and strong communication abilities
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary professionals

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver advanced nursing care to adults with stroke and neurological diagnoses
• Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and assess patient progress
• Coordinate and communicate care plans with physical, occupational, and speech therapy teams
• Foster a supportive environment for patients and families, offering education and emotional support
• Accurately document nursing interventions, responses, and changes in condition in the EMR
• Participate actively in rounds and quality improvement initiatives
• Adhere to facility policies, infection control guidelines, and safety protocols
